Elmhurst City Soccer 3v3 Development League

Elmhurst City Soccer 3v3 Development League

Are you looking for a fun activity this winter?  Do you want to get the kids out of the house to get some activity?

Kids want to play soccer!   Our coaches want to teach players skills that are best developed by having maximum time on a ball in small spaces, under pressure, and in a game environment.

Welcome to the Elmhurst City Soccer 3v3 Development League!

The ECSA 3v3 League is a fun way to get a lot of touches on a ball in a small spaces, learn to make quicker decisions, and develop faster play.

There are no bystanders in 3v3, so all players will be involved in the action.   3v3 soccer builds player confidence, helps them work on the weak parts of their game, and gives them game opportunities to improve a favorite move or work on a skill they want to learn.

The 3v3 League is designed to be a fun place where players will have the freedom to try new moves, learn and make mistakes without any pressure of playing time restrictions (equal play for all), and learn to solve soccer problems with their own skill or the assistance of teammates.

Teams will be formed by ECSA and AYSO staff with consideration to age, physical qualities, and soccer ability level.  Teams will be balanced to ensure the competitive nature of the sessions.

ECSA Coaches are on hand to provide guidance, but will not be coaching players.  The 3v3League is about the player learning, not about the coach directing them from place to place.

ALL ECSA and AYSO players are encouraged to join this league.
